ผมได้ลองรวบรวม คำศัพท์ที่เกี่ยวกับ ภาษากายมาให้ เรียนรู้กันนะครับ
bend forward หรือ incline forward แปลว่า ก้มตัวคำนับ
เช่น They were bending forward, facing each other.
blink หรือ wink แปลว่า กระพริบตา
เช่น He winked an eye at that girl.
สำนวนที่ใกล้เคียง blink of an eye = เร็วมาก ดั่ง ชั่วพริบตา
clap หรือ applaud หรือ give applause หรือ give somebody a clap แปลว่า ปรบมือ
เช่น One man began to clap and others joined in.
How about a round of applause? – ตบมือให้ทีนึง กันเถอะ
Come on everyone, let’s give him a clap.
glance แปลว่า ชำเลือง
เช่น The girl glanced nervously at her watch.
take/shoot/throw/cast a glance (at somebody)
at a glance เช่น I saw at a glance what had happened in front of the office.
at first glance = at first sight = แวบแรกที่เห็น
laugh แปลว่า หัวเราะ
เช่น Don’t laugh at me.
Andrew was laughing so hard.
Sara laughed so much that she nearly cried.
nod แปลว่า พยักหน้า
เช่น she nodded approval
I asked her if she was ready to go, and she nodded.
raise one’s hand แปลว่า ยกมือขึ้น
เช่น Raise your hand if you know the right answer.
shake one’s head แปลว่า ส่ายหน้า
เช่น Jenny shook his head in disbelief.
shrug one’s shoulder แปลว่า ยักไหล่
เช่น I just shrugged my shoulders and ignored her.
Smile แปลว่า ยิ้ม
เช่น Susan smiled at him and waved.
Ron read the message and smiled to himself
Stay aloof แปลว่า เมินเฉย
เช่น They tended to stay aloof from us.
Wave one’s hand แปลว่า โบกมือ
เช่น John waved a hand to attract her attention.
