การใช้ be supposed to (ต้องใส่ verb to be ด้วยนะครับ)

Be supposed to แปลว่า สมควรที่จะต้อง มีความหมายในเชิง ‘จำเป็นต้องทำ’
be แทนด้วย is am are was were been
เช่น
you are supposed to go. แปลว่า คุณสมควรที่จะต้องไป
I am supposed to be there .แปลว่า ฉันสมควรที่จะต้องอยู่ที่นั่น
She’s supposed to call me. แปลว่า เธอสมควรที่จะต้องโทรหาฉัน
They are supposed to give us the answer today. แปลว่า พวกเขาสมควรที่จะต้องให้คำตอบเราวันนี้

You are supposed to go มีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องไปมากกว่า you should go ที่แปลว่า คุณควรไป
คล้ายๆ กัย have to หรือ must ที่แปลว่า คุณต้องไป แต่ การใช้ have to หรือ must จะเป็นเชิงบังคับมากกว่า
