Personal, Possessive, and Reflexive Pronouns

Pronoun คือคำที่ใช้แทนคำนาม

Personal Pronoun ทำหน้าที่เป็นประธาน / กรรมของประโยค

• He listens to music every day.
• A car hit him last night.
• I love you.
• She is missing him.
• I owe her some money.

Possessive adjective ทำหน้าที่เป็นคำแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของต้องมีคำนามตามหลังเสมอ

มองว่า มันทำหน้าที่เป็น Adjective (อยู่หน้านาม)

• My car is here.
• Your letter is over there.
• This is not your responsibility.
• Their dog was hit by a car.

Possessive pronoun ทำหน้าที่เป็นคำแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของไม่ต้องมีคำนามตามหลัง

• My car is here. — > Mine is here.
• Your letter is over there. — > Yours is over there.
• Look at these pictures. Mine is the big one.
• I like your flowers. Do you like mine?
• Your photos are great. Ours are terrible.
• These aren’t John and Jane’s children. Theirs have black hair.
• Is this his?
• This book is yours.
• Ours is the yellow one.

Reflexive pronoun ทำหน้าที่เป็นกรรมของกริยาโดย เน้นว่าประธานเป็นผู้กระทำ

• I cut my hair myself.
• He always talks to himself.
• I did it myself.
• She looked at herself in the mirror.
• We defended ourselves brilliantly.

Collocation หรือ แปลง่ายๆ ว่า word partners เป็นคำที่ควรจะอยู่คู่กัน หรือ เหมาะสมกัน

ยกตัวอย่าง Verb + Noun ที่ใช้บ่อยๆ จริงๆ แล้วไม่ได้จำกัดเพียงแค่นี้นะ

make a mistake – ทำผิดพลาด

make a decision – ตัดสินใจ

make a call – โทรหา

Get

get on a bus – ขึ้นรถเมล์

get off a bus – ลงรถเมล์

get in(to) a car – ขึ้นรถ
